Government is Committed to Ensuring Parity in UEW – Effutu MP
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu Constituency, Honourable Alexander Afenyo-Markin has reiterated Government’s commitment to ensure parity in the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).
He said the Akufo-Addo led Government would not fold its arms and watch things deteriorate at the leading Teacher Education University in Ghana.

The MP said this today, 17th August, 2018 at UEW during an interaction between Management of the University and Representatives of the Effutu Community.
Honourable Afenyo-Markin hinted that Government has plans to support UEW in infrastructural development to increase students’ intake.
The occasion also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the partnership between the two parties.

We are very grateful to you for your immense support that has resulted in the signing of this MoU. I must assure you that Effutuman will always count on you and we believe that God will help you and your cohorts to be successful in all your endeavours.

“We are hoping and praying that students’ population will increase massively for everyone to attest to the fact that UEW went through a great transformation during your tenure as Ag. Vice-Chancellor. It is a big responsibility that you have taken upon yourself; we shall engage you always in our quest for infrastructural development in this University.” The MP said to the Ag. Vice-Chancellor.

The MP eventually thanked everyone and asked for the blessings of God on Effutuman for their cooperation and unification towards the success of the collaboration.

The programme was chaired by the Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni and moderated by the Registrar, Surv. Paul Osei-Barima Esq.
