The Office for Institutional Advancement (OIA) wishes to extend its profound appreciation to the Management, Staff, Students, and the entire University Community for their participation and support in the series of webinars organised by the OIA to support remote online education on the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19).
We wish to bring to the attention of Lecturers and level 400 students that, resit for any outstanding failed papers (from Level 100-400) will be conducted from Monday, 27th July, 2020 to Friday, 31st July, 2020. The following guidelines have been outlined for the conduct of the Special Resit Examinations for Level 400:
The ability to access the UEW-LMS for lectures and online interaction would depend on the payment of fees by students. This approach applies to both newly admitted students and continuing students.

Management wishes to inform the 2019/2020 first session sandwich students that all teaching and learning activities, which will commence on 26th July, 2020 will be conducted through the online UEW Moodle platform. Accordingly, all lectures and other academic interactions will be conducted on the Moodle platform. Management, through the UEW-LMS Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (ULMEC) will roll out series of online orientation exercises (webshops) to facilitate easy access for registration and participation in the online lectures and activities.
The University of Education Winneba (UEW) has successfully rolled out online mature entrance examinations for the first batch of regular and sandwich applicants of the 2020/21 academic year.
The body of the late Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education (FVE), Kumasi Campus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Prof. Martin Amoah, has been laid to rest at Kotei-Deduako in Kumasi on Saturday, 27th June, 2020.
