Applications are invited from qualified PhD candidates for 3-4 month fellowship tenable at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland

1. Eligibility

Applicants must

be academic staff of UEW, and must have been confirmed
be on a doctoral programme in UEW in any area relating to Education
be in the second or third year in the 2016/17 academic year.
Have successfully gone through proposal defense.

2. Application

UEW constructs Kitchenettes in Halls

As an institutional response to the general challenge facing higher educational institutions in Ghana on resolving the issue of high utility tariffs, nine kitchenettes have been constructed for students in residence to allow them use LPG for cooking in-place of electric cookers as an interim measure.

UEW Supports 2016 National Farmers Day Celebration

The University of Education, Winneba, has presented farming and fishing equipment to the Effutu Municipal Assembly on 28th October, 2016 in support of the 32nd National Farmers Day Celebration this year. The items comprised 60 Sharpened Crocodile Machetes, 20 Pairs of Wellington Boots, and 4 Fishing Hooks.
