Training of First Aiders

The Counselling Centre is recruiting  students who want to offer assistance to their colleagues in emergency cases in the halls and hostels as First Aiders.

All interested students will serve as backup to assist in Counselling service.  They will give First Aid to distress students in the Halls/Hostels during the night or weekends when the Centre is not operating.   

Criteria for Selection of First Aiders   

• Must have proven integrity
• Must be affable
• Must be willing to be taught
• Must be patient
• Must be desirous to help   
• Must have to propensity to keep secrets

Interested students should download and complete the attached application form or pick copies of the form for an audition from the Counselling Centre.

Dates for audition are outlined below:
