Gender summit/Health Screening and walk

GRASAG-UEW Women’s Commission in collaboration with the University Health Directorate, Gender Mainstreaming Directorate, UEW-HIV/AIDS Unit and the HPERS Department is organising an all-in-one event dubbed GENDER SUMMIT—Health Screening and Walk for students, staff and the University community.

The programme is under the theme:

A Healthy University Community, a Healthy Nation

There will be health screening on the following diseases: breast and cervical cancer, prostate cancer, hepatitis B, syphilis, blood group and HIV. In addition, there would health related talks on several subjects. It is absolutely free for all.

GRASAG-UEW-WOCOM is, therefore, extending its invitation to all and sundry to be part of this wonderful programme scheduled as follows:





Day 1: Thursday, 27th October, 2016

Women summit /health talk by invited resource personnel

9:00am – 12:00pm

Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus

Day 2:

Friday 28th October, 2016

Screening of various diseases.

9:00am – 4:00pm

Health Walk

5:30 am –7:30am

From Pecku Main-North Campus to SNNIT and back
