Declaration of Vetting Outcome for the UEW Credit Union Elections

At the close of nominations and subsequent vetting, the Vetting Committee (Department of Co-operatives, Credit Union Association of Ghana) has cleared the following persons to contest for the Board of Directors elections of the University of Education, Winneba Co-operative Credit Union Limited on the various campuses:


Board of Directors, Winneba

Supervisory Committee

  1. Elections will be conducted Only for the Board of Directors of Winneba and Mampong-Ashanti slated for Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the following venues:
    1. For Winneba Board, elections would be held at four venues;
      1. South Campus – Adjacent the Security Post
      2. North Campus – Credit Union Office
      3. Ajumako – Forecourt of the Library
      4. Senya Beraku – Senya Beraku Agency Office


  1. For Mampong-Ashanti – Agency Credit Union Office.


  1. There will be NO elections for the Supervisory and Loans Committee members.



  1. Every member of the Union with the minimum shares of One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS100.00) can vote.
  1. Mampong voters shall vote for only one candidate. In the case of the Winneba elections however, voters shall vote for five candidates on the ballot sheet.
