Christmas and New Year Break

We announce for the information of all members of staff of the University that the 2017 Christmas and New Year break will begin from 12:00 noon on Friday, 22^nd December, 2017 and end on Friday, 5^th January, 2018. Work will resume on Monday, 8^th January, 2018.

Heads of the following departments/sections- Grounds and Garden, sanitary, Halls, Transport, Security, Maintenance (Electricians), and Clinics should select staff to ensure that normal services are provided during the holidays.

With the exception of staff who would be engaged in the running of the sandwich programme and those who provide other forms of support service during holidays, all others should please note that the three days in December, 2017 (27^th, 28^th, 29^th) and four days in January, 2018 (2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th&5^th) which are not statutory holidays will be set against their 2018 leave.
