The Association of African Universities wishes to announce to the general public about the 2019 Annual Africa Asia Exchange Forum due to take place in Singapore from 28 October 2019 to 6 November 2019.
The 2019 forum will be dedicated to education. Using a mix of seminars; learning exchange visits to educational and technology institutions; the forum will deliver a platform aimed at offering critical discussions in areas such as:
The Association of African Universities is inviting all Higher Education Institutions across the continent to celebrate the 2019 African Universities Week which comes off from 11 -15 November 2019.
This is a 3-day event in which 40 faculty(opportunity for three(3) from Africa), through a course development and course modification proposals process, will be invited to come to New Orleans, Lousiana to work in groups of 3-5 with top experts from Duke, NYU, UC Berkley, Princeton, etc.
The AAU invites delegates to the WORKSHOP ON BEST PRACTICES IN MANAGEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES’ SUPPORTED PROGRAMS FOR INSTITUTIONAL GROWTH. This capacity building workshop is scheduled as follows:

African Centers of Excellence converge in Djibouti from 18th to 27th February 2019 to strengthen research, development programmes and innovations Djibouti, 14 February 2019. The first Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence (ACE I) project was launched in Western and Central Africa by the World Bank in 2014 to support higher education sectors specializing in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), agriculture and health. In 2016, the second ACE project (ACE II) was launched in Eastern and Southern Africa.
