Collection of Academic Gowns for 21st Congregation – July Session

The July Session of the 21st Congregation for Winneba Campus has been scheduled for Thursday, July 27 to Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus.  The ceremony commences at 8:30a.m.

Convocation members are entreated to be part of the Vice-Chancellor’s procession for the congregation.  Convocation members should therefore register at the Ground Floor of the Faculty Block, North Campus for their gowns from Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

Please, bring this to the attention of convocation members in your Faculty, Department, Section or Unit.

INTENSIVE PRE – ACADEMIC ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (IPOP) 2017

The Office for the Dean of Student Affairs wishes to inform all staff and students of a 1-day Intensive Pre-academic Orientation Programme (IPOP) for all fresh Undergraduate and Postgraduate sandwich students for the 2016/2017 academic year.

Quality Speaks - Issue 28

In this issue of our Newsletter we wish our regular students happy long vacation while we welcome our sandwich students back to the lecture rooms once more. For our students who have completed their programmes we wish them great success in the National Service or success in their search for jobs, if they do not belong to the group that will be on National Service.

PROMOTION EXERCISE FOR JUNIOR AND SENIOR STAFF

 

Applications are invited from qualified Senior and Junior Staff of the University for the July 2017 promotions. Requests for application forms should be directed to the Deputy Registrar, Human Resource.

Application and Assessment Forms will be sent only to applicants who meet the criteria for promotion as outlined in the “PROMOTION PROCEDURES FOR SENIOR/JUNIOR STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY” which has been circulated to Departments/Sections.

Nomination call for UNESCO-Hamdan Prize 2017-2018 (5th Edition)

The fifth edition of the UNESCO-Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Prize for Outstanding Practice and Performance in Enhancing the Effectiveness of Teachers has opened the call for nominations.

 

The prize is awarded every two years and it recognizes initiatives that contribute to improving educational practices around the world, with priority given to developing countries and to marginalized and disadvantaged communities.

 

The Prize of $300 000 will be divided between three winners.
