End-of-Semester Examinations for Second Semester, 2017/2018

The Division of Academic Affairs wishes to inform both University staff and students that the End-of-Semester Examinations for the Second Semester is scheduled to start on Monday, 7th May, 2018 and end on Thrusday, 24th May, 2018. The time-table will be posted on Notice Boards as well as on the University website when it is ready.

Entrance Examinations for Mature Applicants

The 2018 Entrance Examinations for Mature Applicants has been scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday, 12th April, 2018 – Special Education candidates
  • Friday, 13th April, 2018 – Subject Area Test (SAT) / Interviews for all candidates
  • Saturday, 14th April, 2018 - General Aptitude Test for all candidates.

ONLY INVITED APPLICANTS SHOULD REPORT FOR THE EXAMINATIONS.

Challenges with Processing of Staff Claims for Payment being addressed

The University’s Integrated Financial Information Management System (TOPAZ Accounting Pro) Software has been down for a while now. This has led to a delay in the payment of claims. The University Management and the developers of the TOPAZ system met this morning Wednesday 11th April, 2018, and an agreement has been reached to get the software running by close of today.

Provision of Helpdesk for First Line ICT Support

The ICT Services Directorate wishes to inform the University Community of the provision of a helpdesk for First Line ICT Support and a means to report ICT related problems.

The Service is to offer a mechanism to report faults relating to IT Services provided by University of Education, Winneba. To ensure optimum benefit to the community, members of staff are kindly advised that priority should be given to UEW equipment and services and not private-owned equipment.

Invitation to the Inter-University Conference for Doctoral Studies (IUCD)

The University Community is invited to the Inter-University Conference for Doctoral Studies (IUCD) which is organized by IUCD in collaboration with the Department of French Education, the Faculty of Foreign Languages Education and Communication, the College of Languages Education, and the School of Graduate Studies, University of Education, Winneba.

The theme for the Conference is National Development through Collaborative Research in Education Studies.
