- An address on a Sub-theme:
“The Role of Mother Tongue (L1) in the Education of the Ghanaian Child.”
Applications are invited from qualified undergraduate students to access the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund (VCSF) for the 2016/2017 academic year (Second Phase)
Completed applications should be submitted to Deans of Faculty or Director, IEDE by 28th February, 2017 who shall act as coordinators of the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund (VCSF).
Students on Distance Education programme should submit completed applications to the Director of IEDE through their Coordinators.
The Centre for International Programmes of the University of Education, Winneba announces for the information of the University Community, a full scholarship for a Ph.D programme tenable in the University of West Florida, (UWF) USA.
University of West Florida (UWF) in the United States of America, as part of its collaboration with UEW, has offered a full funding for one staff of UEW to undertake a Ph.D programme in UWF, starting from August 2017.

The Management Board of the UEW Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce to the University community that the Board, per the recommendations received from the Scholarship Committee has awarded scholarships to the under-listed students. The award is for the 2016/2017 academic year.
The Gender Mainstreaming Directorate commences phase 4 of its Mentoring Programme for Senior Members. The program seeks to assist newly recruited Senior Members (Teaching & non-teaching) with their research and publications.
This facility is open to newly recruited Senior Members and other Senior Members who have not benefited from the programme earlier.

Applications are invited from qualified Senior and Junior Staff of the University for the January 2017 promotions. Requests for application forms should be directed to the Deputy Registrar, Division of Human Resource.
Application and Assessment Forms will be sent only to applicants who meet the criteria for promotion as outlined in the “PROMOTION PROCEDURES FOR SENIOR/JUNIOR STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY” which has been circulated to Departments/Sections.

In this respect, childhood and adolescence are closely tied to the question of the future, on both an individual and a social level. But how do chil‐ dren and young people look into their future themselves?
