Effutu Assembly Members Congratulate Rev. Fr. Prof. Afful-Broni

Assembly Members of the Effutu Municipality on Tuesday, 2nd October, 2018 paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni to congratulate him on his Investiture and Induction as the fourth Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).

The visit was also to strengthen the relationship between the University and the Effutu Community. In that regard, the Assembly Members used the opportunity to inform the Vice-Chancellor about some of the challenges indigene traders face at the University and pleaded with him to use his powers to address those issues.

As the Ghanaian custom demands, the Assembly Members presented a parcel to the Vice-Chancellor and urged him to continue with the good works and never pursue the interests of only few individuals but the interests of all.

The Vice-Chancellor accepted the parcel in good faith and promised to address the issues they brought before him diligently.

In attendance was the Ag. Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. James Kagya-Agyemang. Assembly Members present included Mr. William Selorm Deku, Mr. Ben Sackey, Mr. Kow Sekum, Mr. Jonathan Kpodo, Mr. Joejoe Bondzie, Mr. Samuel Nana Asante, Ms. Elizabeth Awo Senah, Mr. Andrews Ankamah, Mrs. Rebecca Afrifa Codjoe and Mr. Kweku Ghartey.
